Soma (Carisoprodol)

Soma Generic pill is a muscle relaxant. The main effect of these pills is to block the nerve impulses that are sent to the brain. Thus, the person will not feel pain. Therefore, these pills are used primarily in the treatment of muscle damage or wounds.

        The exact dosage of Soma medication is determined by the doctor who prescribed it. Regardless of the size of the dose, it is necessary to drink a full glass of water. The maximum daily dose is considered to be 1,400 mg (4 tablets). It is recommended to store the tablets in a cool dry place at room temperature.

        If for some reason one intake has been missed, the patient does not need to take a double dose. The patient should wait for the time for the next medication and drink as much as the doctor recommended. Four hours is the ideal time interval for taking Soma tablets.

Common symptoms of an overdose are:

• low blood pressure,

• fatigue,

• weakened breathing,

• and even loss of consciousness.

If one of these symptoms is observed, immediately consult a doctor.

Soma side effects include:

• allergy;

• paralyses;

• tremor;

• vision loss.

        However, in practice, such serious consequences come in exceptional cases. Rather, drowsiness, depression or a headache may occur.  However, other side effects that are not described in this manual may occur. Any unusual side effects, especially those that cause your concern, should be reported to the doctor.

        Care must be taken when driving, operating industrial machinery or performing other hazardous work. Soma may cause dizziness or drowsiness. If you experience a similar condition, refrain from dangerous activities. Care should be taken when consuming alcohol. Alcohol can increase drowsiness and dizziness caused by this drug.
